Luis is a senior research fellow at the Research School of Population Health and an NHMRC Early Career Fellow. His research focuses on answering clinical epidemiological questions (mainly related to infectious diseases) through the application of research synthesis methods. Luis has also interest on simulation studies and improving current meta-analytical methods, he has developed an index (LFK index) for detecting publication bias in meta-analysis which is fully implemented on MetaXL.
