Fiona Campbell

Fiona Campbell is a Senior Lecturer in Evidence Synthesis at Newcastle University. She has 25 years of experience in undertaking evidence synthesis to inform decision making and guide practice. She is an expert in evidence synthesis methodology, and is currently leading a global team consulting on methods and processes to support advancement in evidence synthesis capacity to address urgent sustainable development goals (funded by Wellcome). She has published methodological research and leads short courses on mapping reviews, rapid reviews and qualitative synthesis. She has a clinical background in public health and a focus of her work has been the wellbeing of children and young people. She is the editor for the Children and Young People’s Wellbeing Group for the Campbell Collaboration.
